What is a vampire?








Some people say it's a bloodsucking, flying creature with amazing psychic powers with sharp fangs.





Others say it's a normal human who works at night and feeds off of people's energy, one who's extremely intense and has sharpened their teeth in some way.





Then there are those who think a vampire is just the nature inside of humans, the desires, fear, angst, etc.





So what do you think is a vampire?

Reply:I think that vampires represent the imaginings of people a long time ago who were faced with the aftermath of various gory crimes but couldn't fathom that a human being could be responsible for such coldblooded violence. They convinced themselves that there was something else that was responsible, something nearly human but not quite. That way they didn't have to face the reality that PEOPLE could actually DO things like that.
Reply:i think a vampire is a thirsy being who lurks the night in search of their next victim, every night is the same until he find a lover who he cares for yet the time passes years go by and that so called lover is no more, the vampire will just go out lurking for more victims to feed off of. He doesnt have any powers or shapeshifting abilites but he has night vision and with this extrodinary night vision he can see the world in many ways you cannot. So in the end this vampire just feeds for all of eternity just to keep himself sustained with blood until the day comes when he refuses to go out and hunt, his body weakens and no one knows of his existance b/c he has been dead for centuries already, so he just lies there in his apartment lifeless for all to see the shame of a vampire who let his species be known to humans when his body was discovered.
