Does anybody here have the same view of vampires that I do?

I don't like horror movies where vampires are tearing out people's throats. When I think of vampires I think of people with dark hair, maroon eyes, sharp teeth, and a quiet personality. For their weakeness I think that they are just allergic to garlic and get sunburned easily, but they can deal with it. I KNOW that anybody will be killed with a stake through the heart, so that is out of the question...


I think they don't JUST live in coffins, they just like closed in places. I think that some may go to church. They're not dead, but they aren't human anymore.


Does anyone else have the same views as I do? I would like to know what you think of my view and what you think of vampires.

I agree that vampires are not dead, they are not human either because they do not age and they only die if they are killed in certain ways. I always think of them as subtle and very intellectual as though when they become vampires they gain knowledge and intelligence. But other than the need for human blood to survive and the need to avoid sunlight, a lot of what is portrayed in most movies is not how I see vampires at all.
Reply:The only vampire I think of in the way you described above is an old school friend who even at 15 said she was a vampire - some how it never sounded odd when she said it but then again I had known her since we started school at 3 so I was use to it.








In general I think a vampires as being pale with dark hair (sounds like my mum) that don't like certain things - i.e. the smell of garlic and to a lessor extent onions and ginger due to there strong odours. I agree with the easily burnt bit but I liken it to a medical condition (XP) where they have a problem with the pigment that protects us when we get sun burnt. As for the biting / feeding thing - everyone has their desirers, why should a vampire? and who's to say the 'bite' was not a hicky? If a vampire is comfortable sleeping in a coffin then let them - each to his own - hard, dark enclosed spaces can be comfertable.
Reply:Well there is anime of Vampires. It's called: Vampire Knight. It's about a school. The principal is trying to end the war of vampires and humans. I's really good. I just started on it.
