How good is this story?

i wrote this story and i sorta based on Twilight by Stephenie Meyer except my human character is actually a vampire raised by a human. She did met a vampire but one bite from the vampire, all her mortality is gone. Here it is:

Chap one:


"Wake up, Elisha! You are going to miss the plane!" I groaned at my father's voice. That was fast. I had spent the whole night packing up. I am going to visit my mother who lives in New York City. New York City's population is overcrowded compared to Los Angelos. Plus, when you have a father who was a billionaire and could afford a mansion in beverly hills, what do you have to lose?


"Elisha, get down here this minute!" my dad yelled from the door. I shouted back, "i will be there in a minute!" i quickly put on some random tee-shirt and jeans and ran into the bathroom. i brushed my teeth as quickly as i can. Then i slide down the stairs.

How good is this story?
Twillight is my favorite book ever!


And your story seems good although there are some spelling and grammer errors. I like the idea of the vampire being raised by a human.
