Where can i go to get my teeth sharpen like vampire fangs?

There are dentists who will be willing to file your teeth to make them look like vampire fangs, but it is definately not recommended. Such actions are not only permenant, but can also damage your teeth if not done well and if not properly cared for afterwards.

If you were willing to (or able to) afford having your teeth sharpened, I would recommend you seek out the services of a fangsmith. Fangsmiths make custom vampire teeth for individuals. The teeth can be worn almost any time, and are very sturdy. One of the more popular fang smiths is Dnash, of Teeth by Dnash.

He has over twenty-five styles of fangs which he creates personally for each person. The fangs are not implants, however, but caps, which are custom made for each customer. These fangs can be put in and removed very easily, but are created of high quality material so they will last for a long time. Basically, they are like removable caps for your teeth. He makes them to be removable so you won't damage them when eating (and you won't HAVE to wear them to work or the family reunion, unless you just want to).

Dnash works from a professional dentists cast of your teeth (upper and/or lower casts), so each fang will fit snug in your mouth. He can either make the cast of your mouth in his studio, during one of his Fang Tours, or you can send him made by your own dentist. His fangs aren't cheap, though. They run about $100 per set - plus, if you don't go to his studio or have it done on one of his tours, you have the added expenses of paying your dentist for a full mouth cast.

Finally, you can purchase several types of fake fangs which you fit into your own mouth using a moldable type of plastic. Those kinds of fangs can be found a party/costume shops (and your local Hot Topic), and are usually pretty cheap. I picked some up off the clearance rack in April that are red - very fun. You can also get other colors, including metallic.

There are several disadvantages to these types of fangs, however. First of all, they are not high quality. The plastic backing for the fangs can be hard to do yourself. Also, it's hard to get them to look "right" or "natural". The color may not be the color of your teeth, or you might not be able to get them straight. Finally, the plastic will only last so long, even if you get it to work right. On the other hand, they are cheap, so if you loose them, you can always get another pair with out shelling out major amounts of money.

I threw in a few different source links for places you might like to shop at, including Dnash's website.

Enjoy!

Reply:Check at a tatoo parlor, they may know.
Reply:Heck! You can do it your self with an emory board..
Reply:bad idea man; those thing are permanent, and dont do something ull regret 10 years later. But if u want to i suppose there are cosmetic store that do this for a charge. also why not just buy fake fangs? cheaper and non-permanent plus less painful.
Reply:to your local hardware store... get a rasp saw and do it yourself because no respectable dentist would agree to do this for you

word of caution: it is costly to fix however you do it when you grow up and want a life....

Reply:Actually any dentist, just depends on whether they'll do it or not. You'll most likely have to sign a waiver too. Or you can ask a dentist to get you a removable prosthetic, that way you can take it out whenever you want, plus only regrets you'll have later is the money spent on it, but hey, you're paying for it! I'll do it for you, I graduate in June 2007!
Reply:Why would you want to do something that stupid? That will look real good when your 80.

Reply:Actually, you could go to a dentist, if they agree to something like that, or to a tattoo parlor or the places that insert implants under the skin (for horns, etc); however, a less perm. method would be to go to a Halloween store and purchase teeth that you can fit to your natural teeth...I have a pair and they rock! Also, depending on where you are located, I have a friend that likes to make his own...they are quite nifty and have lasted him for 10+ years.
Reply:TRANSYLVANIA !!
Reply:just use a chain saw file and start slowly forming them into a point. it shouldn't take too long.
Reply:Transylvania. Once there, why not just stay?
Reply:Wow, you're scary. Why not go for Extreme Makeover. If not, see a cosmetic surgeon.
Reply:a dental surgeon who specializes in that field would probably do it
